Likewise, some pitchers might convert doubles into homers. When a '1' PRN is rolled, a second roll of a d6 will tell you if the ball is a double or a HR, depending on the pitcher's HR allowance letter (if he has one). ![]() For example, one integrates the MG's G, H, L, M HR-allowance ratings. Many also dealt with blending the basic and master games. Many of the articles concerned APBA formulas, how teams were created, and so on. The AJ sold these packs for all the APBA games at the time (1980s-early 90s). Recently, I found a notebook with a pack of AJ articles about the baseball game. Has anyone tried one or more of the basic game mods from the old APBA Journal? If so, do you still use them, and how do you like them?
